Job summary

Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP seeks a Research and AI Solutions Librarian to deliver expert research for over 250 attorneys and business professionals. The role champions AI-enabled research tools and integrates them into daily work while supporting library operations and access to resources.

Responsibilities include managing research requests, conducting AI-assisted searches, enabling interlibrary loans, and developing AI workflows with Lexis Protege and other tools.

Qualifications

• MLIS or equivalent experience required with legal research background.
• Experience evaluating and using AI-assisted research tools.
• Proficiency with major online legal research platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, sourced research answers to attorneys and professionals.
• Conduct AI-assisted research and manage research requests and intake.
• Develop AI-enabled research workflows and training materials.
• Maintain library catalog and research portal; oversee interlibrary loan.
