Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP, a national law firm, seeks a Business Analyst to join the Data and Innovation Department to translate client needs into actionable user stories and workflows. You will support pilots, UAT, and post-implementation activities across multiple offices and national projects.

The role requires curiosity, collaboration, analytical rigor, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment with travel across the firm's footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, CS, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 3 years as a Business Analyst or similar client-facing role; experience in professional services or legal environment preferred.
• Experience with AI-enabled platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Experience in legal tech, operations, or analytics, including document automation and workflow automation, is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary intake point for AI-related project requests and document needs clearly for feasibility, scope, and resources.
• Create user stories, process flows, and requirement summaries to guide development and implementation.
• Act as liaison between requesters and the department to ensure clear bidirectional communication.
• Identify patterns and opportunities for automation during intake and discovery.
• Maintain knowledge of stakeholders, processes, and systems to enhance intake quality and documentation.
• Document business requirements, processes, assumptions, and data sources thoroughly.
