Datatonic is seeking a highly organized Legal Counsel to join its internal legal function in the United States. You will own commercial agreements, manage the contract database, and drive AI‑assisted workflows to streamline reviews.

You’ll provide in‑house guidance across GDPR, compliance, and governance while collaborating with sales, finance, and delivery teams. The role requires 3–6 years PQE as a solicitor, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a passion for applying AI to legal

Qualifications

Qualified solicitor with 3–6 years PQE in top-tier law firm or fast-paced in-house tech.
Proven track record negotiating complex commercial tech or professional services agreements.
Experience implementing or maintaining standardised contract management frameworks.

Responsibilities

Lead drafting, negotiation and risk mitigation for MSAs, NDAs and DPAs.
Set up and manage central contract repository and post-signature lifecycles.
Design AI‑driven review playbooks and workflows to accelerate processes.
Provide pragmatic in-house advice across employment, data protection, compliance and governance.
Collaborate with sales, finance, and delivery teams on commercial terms.
