Job summary

Accenture seeks a Forward Deployed Scientific Informatics Consultant to deliver AI-driven laboratory solutions, from requirements to deployment across R&D and QC contexts.

You will gather stakeholder insights, translate needs into specs, manage projects using waterfall and agile methods, and ensure compliance with GxP/non-GxP standards while enabling end-user training and data migration. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in scientific and laboratory informatics in R&D and/or QC Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Elicit, demonstrate, and scale AI-enabled lab solutions for scientists across the value chain
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather insights and clarify needs
• Translate business requirements into functional/technical specs for development and configuration
• Develop and maintain project documentation (requirements, use cases, user stories, design docs)
• Support both waterfall and agile project management
• Ensure designs comply with GxP and non-GxP regulatory environments
• Assist in data migration and master data management
• Provide end-user training and ongoing system support
• Prepare SDLC documents (maps, workflows, specs, test scripts)
• Advise on data/system architectures for lab solutions
• Oversee and implement digital lab solutions (LIMS, ELN, CDS, SDMS, IoT, cloud)
• Travel up to 50% to client locations
