Job summary

SMX is seeking a Knowledge Systems Integrator to enable AI-enabled operations across DoD workflows at Camp Smith. You will integrate Knowledge Management with SharePoint, Power Platform, Maven Smart System, and other tools to support air, space, cyber, and Joint domains.

A current DoD Top Secret SCI clearance and US citizenship are required. This onsite role in Aiea, Hawaii involves rapid prototyping, deployment, and governance of AI-enabled knowledge systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience; degree substitution possible.
• Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI.
• Experience supporting military/defense operations or related environments.
• Ability to manage knowledge repositories, metadata, taxonomy, lifecycle, governance.
• Familiarity with Maven Smart System or Palantir platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support AI-integrated systems to improve workflows.
• Transform processes into AI-enabled tools.
• Support Maven Smart System as primary AI platform.
• Develop AI-enabled workflows linking knowledge, data, tools, and decisions.
• Develop in-house LLM capabilities using approved data.
• Create retrieval-augmented generation workflows using trusted data sources.
• Design AI prompts, templates, and reusable patterns.
• Integrate AI with cloud, APIs, databases, dashboards, and tools.
• Support AI governance, data protection, and auditing.
