SMX in Hawaii seeks an Assessments Data Scientist to develop AI/ML-enabled capabilities for operational planning and decision support in a DoD context. The role emphasizes turning requirements into data-driven solutions, building ML models, and delivering dashboards, all while collaborating with planners, operators, and technical teams onsite in Aiea.

The ideal candidate holds a quantitative degree, at least 5 years in big data analytics, and an active TS/SCI clearance with SCI eligibility.

The Assessments Data Scientist supports SOCPAC SOJ54 initiatives by developing and implementing AI/ML-enabled capabilities to enhance operational planning and decision-making. This role focuses on transforming operational requirements into data-driven solutions through advanced analytics, machine learning models, and data visualization tools. The position operates within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, integrating technical expertise with mission-focused problem solving to support Department of Defense priorities. Secret Clearance required, must be able to obtain TS/SCI

This position requires an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.

This position is working onsite in Aiea, Hawaii.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and document technical data solutions that translate operational requirements into data-driven capabilities.

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in big data analysis and data-driven solution development.
• Must possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (U.S. citizenship required).

The proposed salary for this position is:

$103,100—$125,000 USD
