Ziply Fiber is seeking an IT Security Engineer to apply IT security principles and AI-driven tools to protect company resources. You will support threat detection, incident response, and risk management while aligning with security initiatives and budgets.

The role emphasizes collaboration with IT and network teams, AI-enabled monitoring, and ongoing research into new security trends and countermeasures.

Qualifications

• BS in Information Technology or equivalent technical discipline.
• Three to five years of direct Cyber Engineer or information assurance experience.
• Experience with AI-powered security tools and SIEM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develops policies, procedures and security studies leveraging AI/ML tools.
• Monitors intrusion detection systems and firewall logs; coordinates mitigations.
• Deploys and manages AI-powered security tools including EDR and UEBA.
