Job summary

LabConnect, a life sciences-focused central lab services provider, seeks a senior leader to establish and mature IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance with AI-enabled controls in a GxP environment.

You will define the AI-enabled compliance framework, oversee regulatory programs (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, FDA 21 CFR Part 11), partner with security, engineering, and quality teams, and drive automated evidence collection for audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field is required.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience across IT security, risk, compliance, or GRC.
• Experience introducing AI or intelligent automation into compliance workflows.
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-enabled compliance operations and automated SOP/document management.
• Establish governance for AI-assisted development with policy-as-code and human-reviewed gates.
• Oversee regulatory programs (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, FDA 21 CFR Part 11) and risk controls.
