Chase in Plano, TX is seeking a Software Engineer III – iOS Developer for Business Banking. You will build secure, scalable iOS apps that help businesses manage finances and growth, using AI-assisted tooling and modern Swift features.

Responsibilities include implementing unit/UI tests, contributing to architecture, and ensuring code quality with secure coding practices. You’ll work in a collaborative environment within Consumer & Community Banking.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 3+ years of applied experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and integrating AI into development workflows.
• Hands-on use of enterprise AI development tools with ability to evaluate and refine AI outputs.
• Understanding responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and security expectations.
• Experience in native mobile app development.
• Proficiency in Swift and modern concurrency patterns (async/await, Combine).
• Strong knowledge of iOS frameworks: UIKit, SwiftUI, Foundation, Core Data, Combine; OOP and SOLID.
• Experience writing XCTest and XCUITest tests.
• Experience with CI/CD and Git.

• Uses SDLC tools to enhance automation value and integrate AI capabilities into development.
• Executes software design, development, and debugging across complex problems.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms.
• Implements unit and UI tests (XCTest, XCUITest) and automated test suites.
• Produces architecture/design artifacts for complex apps and ensures design constraints are met.
• Gathers and analyzes large data sets to visualize and improve software.
• Identifies hidden data patterns to drive coding hygiene and architecture improvements.
