Job summary

Citi is seeking a Director of Cybersecurity Insider Threat in Tampa, FL, to lead the Insider Threat program within the Cybersecurity Fusion Center. The role focuses on reducing risk through data-centric processes and AI-driven threat mitigation, guiding modernization, governance, and cross-functional coordination across the firm.

Strong leadership is required, with 15+ years in cybersecurity and a track record of building high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience in cybersecurity, insider threat, or relevant experience in risk-heavy environments.
• Leadership experience with multiple direct reports and building high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of insider threat landscape, AI/ML for security, and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication skills with senior leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience leading in fast-paced, global environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic vision for the enterprise Insider Threat program.
• Drive AI and data analytics to enhance detection, analysis, and mitigation of insider threats.
• Lead design and implementation of a data-centric insider threat process.
• Develop and sustain an enterprise insider threat program with detection, triage, and mitigation capabilities.
• Engage senior leadership, HR, legal, risk, and external partners to benchmark and adopt best practices.
• Contribute to governance, risk management, and control frameworks for insider threat.
