Job summary

Capital One Shopping is seeking a Business Director to lead strategic growth and cross-functional execution with merchant partners. The role emphasizes AI involvement and data-driven decision making across product, pricing, marketing, and risk management.

You will guide analysts, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, and Finance to deliver measurable improvements in profitability and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• At least 4 years of quantitative analysis experience.
• At least 4 years of qualitative analysis experience.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.
• At least 2 years of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership: develop growth, profitability and competitive strategies for Capital One Shopping.
• Lead and mentor analysts, developing talent across the team.
• Develop and implement product and pricing strategies; lead data modeling/analytics.
• Lead marketing efforts for select products and inform new customer experiences.
• Drive credit risk insights, modeling and hypothesis testing with rigorous analytics.
• Oversee delivery of business requirements and multiple projects concurrently.
• Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance to improve quality, volume, service and profitability.
• Demonstrate a results-oriented approach with strong executive communication.
