Job summary

AMD’s internship program places you in Orlando to work on AI agentic workflows for GPU ASIC design. You’ll contribute to AI-driven agent development, RTL design support, and verification planning while collaborating with seasoned engineers across disciplines.

You will gain hands-on experience with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and automation pipelines, applying them to real semiconductor engineering challenges.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/MS/PhD in CE, CS, or related field with at least one year remaining.
• Experience with Python and Linux scripting; familiarity with ML concepts.
• Interest in AI agentic workflows and GPU/ASIC design topics.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI agents to assist engineers with GPU ASIC design activities (RTL development, verification planning, debugging, documentation).
• Collaborate with design, verification, and architecture teams to enhance workflows using LLMs, retrieval systems, and autonomous AI agents.
• Build, evaluate, and optimize agentic workflows using design specs, code repositories, simulations, and technical docs.
• Measure AI agent effectiveness and help create scalable solutions improving productivity and design quality.
