Apple, Inc. in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Performance & Capacity Engineer to join the global network infrastructure team.

You will develop data-driven models for capacity planning, traffic forecasting, and performance optimization across Apple's Core Backbone and Internet Edge. Collaborate with network architecture and engineering, analyze large telemetry datasets, design dashboards, and apply AI/ML to improve forecasting accuracy and automate insights, enabling scalable, reliable

Formación

• BS in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in software development and data engineering.
• Experience with forecasting, regression, or time-series modeling.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and tools development.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/NoSQL).
• Experience building data visualizations and analytical dashboards.
• Built and deployed at least one web app end-to-end (e.g., Flask/FastAPI with React/Dash/Streamlit).

• Run scenario analyses to test network capacity under growth or failures.
• Analyze large telemetry datasets to identify patterns and constraints.

• Build scalable pipelines to process large-scale telemetry data.
• Apply AI/ML techniques to uncover insights and automate anomaly detection.
