Job summary
Motorola Solutions is seeking a Product Manager to own geospatial data and mapping integrations within CAD and RMS platforms, coordinating AI/ML features and SDLC optimization. You will collaborate with product owners, engineering, UI/UX, sales, deployment, and support to deliver high-performance GIS solutions for public safety users.
The role emphasizes strategic roadmap ownership, market-driven decisions, and customer feedback integration to maintain a competitive advantage in public safety
Qualifications
- BS/BA in GIS, Geography, Cartography, or equivalent technical discipline
- 3+ years of professional product management experience, ideally with GIS/location-based services
- Proven ability to drive product strategy where AI concepts are translated into measurable business value
- Deep technical knowledge of GIS software, spatial data formats, and ESRI ArcGIS ecosystem
- Experience with Agile development practices and tools (Jira/Confluence)
- Ability to build consensus among cross-functional stakeholders
- Knowledge of AI/ML workflows and their application in GIS products
Responsibilities
- Drive the product roadmap with GIS features and AI capabilities
- Define business value and translate roadmap goals into technical requirements
- Lead end-to-end product development bridging market, user, and engineering
- Coordinate releases with cross-functional teams and ensure quality
- Incorporate feedback from customers and field teams into strategic plans
- Support go-to-market with training, demos, and assets
