Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to advance CI/CD, AWS-based microservices, and AI-driven automation for developer workflows. You will implement Terraform-based infrastructure, Python tooling, and robust security practices across cloud environments.

You will collaborate with product, platform, and SRE teams to deliver scalable, observable systems while guiding release governance and performance optimization within a complex enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Full stack development with CI/CD platforms.
• Extensive AWS design/deploy experience (VPC/IAM/EC2/S3/Lambda).
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes RBAC.
• Security-first mindset with RBAC, OIDC/SAML, and policy-as-code.
• Observability with logs, metrics, tracing.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python services, APIs, and tooling to improve CI/CD on AWS.
• Build scalable microservices and batch workflows with AWS services.
• Own infrastructure as Code with Terraform; establish standards and automation.
• Create reusable SDKs, CLI tools, templates, and libraries.
• Implement policy-as-code, audit logging, RBAC, and secure secrets handling.
• Optimize deployment strategies (canary, blue/green), can implement CI/CD gates.
• Drive automated testing with Python frameworks and quality gates.
• Ensure reliability and observability with logging, metrics, tracing.
• Collaborate with product, platform, security, and SRE teams.
• Contribute to roadmap, estimation, and delivery plans; manage technical risk.
