CGI Federal is seeking an AI Full Stack Developer to design and build intelligent, data-driven applications that enable mission and business outcomes. This role covers end-to-end development from responsive front ends to robust back-end services and AI/ML integration.

This position can be based in Lebanon, VA or Knoxville, TN with a hybrid model, and onsite in Arlington, VA with hybrid options. You will grow your full stack, AI/ML, and software engineering skills through mentorship and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 1–6 years of software development experience.
• Hands on experience building full stack applications.
• Experience applying AI/ML or generative AI in apps.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with modern front end frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) and back end/API development.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD fundamentals.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications across front end, back end, and data layers.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into applications (LLMs, AI APIs, models).
• Build and consume APIs to connect apps with AI models and data sources.
• Develop data pipelines and workflows feeding AI features.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into designs.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor performance and data quality.
• Participate in code reviews and document solutions.
