Job summary

CBRE in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Functional Finance team. You will leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, improve reporting quality, and drive smarter business partnerships across Finance, HR, Technology, Legal, and Marketing.

You will partner with functional cost centers to explain monthly actuals, support budgets and rolling forecasts, and deliver actionable insights for cost transformation.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial planning in a large org.
• Experience in functional finance or business partnering is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to finance leadership.
• Proficiency in financial planning systems; TM1, Cognos, or OneStream preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with functional cost centers to develop, track, and explain monthly actuals vs budget and forecast with variance analysis.
• Support budget, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning cycles for functional cost areas.
• Prepare and maintain headcount and opex reporting with run-rate cost trajectories.
• Use TM1/Cognos/OneStream and advanced Excel; assist migration to OneStream as planning evolves; apply AI tools for data manipulation and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Accounting on month-end close activities including accruals and reclassifications.
• Build financial models and templates to support cost transformation, scenario analysis, and ad hoc requests.
