Job summary

Seaboard Foods is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer–Innovation to partner with teams across the business in Merriam, KS. You will build AI-powered agent systems, extend ontologies, and deploy tools that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

You will own end-to-end development from scoping with business units to production, including cost-aware runtimes, tooling, and knowledge substrates. Strong Python/TypeScript skills and experience with agent frameworks are essential.

Qualifications

• Five or more years shipping production software.
• Experience building, evaluating, and deploying LLM-powered agents.
• Fluency in Python and TypeScript; familiarity with agent frameworks and evaluation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build, evaluate, and deploy agentic workflows end-to-end across business units.
• Extend ontology in Foundry and AIP for agents and workflows.
• Surface and retire manual workflows with AI-assisted software.
