Job summary

BambooHR in Utah-based hybrid role seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to own the customer engagement cycle from discovery to deployed solution for SMB customers. • 5+ years of software engineering with production experience.
• Full-stack development and ability to ship independently.
• Experience building AI agents and AI-powered solutions.
• Strong design skills for systems and data models.
• Ability to review code for security and privacy risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site and video discovery sessions with customers to define what to build.
• Define project scope and deliverables with realistic timelines.
• Build AI-powered agents and automated workflows within BambooHR.
• Learn customer data sources to design integrations.
• Validate solutions for correctness, reliability, and fit.
• Document handoffs and transition completed engagements to the tools team.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience on roadmaps.
