Job summary

ChipAgents is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customer design teams, building new capabilities and shipping working solutions that blend hardware and software.

You will own the customer relationship end-to-end, collaborating with R&D and domain experts to translate field problems into shipped solutions and to connect customer design flows to ChipAgents tooling (RTL, testbenches, simulators, and debug environments).

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on chip design or DV experience at semiconductor/EDA/hardware company.
• Working knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog, RTL; familiarity with testbenches, simulation, debugging.
• Software skills: Python required; C++ or TypeScript a plus.
• Experience with AI agents (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode).
• Excellent communicator able to work with customers and translate learnings into priorities.
• Willingness to travel on-site with customers.

Responsibilities

• Embed on-site with customer design and verification teams to build new solutions.
• Own the customer relationship end-to-end for your account, from problem definition to working product.
• Collaborate with R&D, domain experts, and customer champions to turn field problems into shipped solutions.
• Write code connecting ChipAgents to customer design flows, including RTL, testbenches, simulators, and verification environments.
