Job summary

Ampere is seeking a visionary Firmware/Software Test & Validation Architect to define and guide test and validation for our Arm-based reference platforms. You will lead the creation of robust QA strategies spanning firmware, drivers, OS, AI runtimes, and applications post-silicon, ensuring hardware-software co-verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 10+ years of embedded software/firmware test, verification, or validation experience with leadership exposure.
• Proven expertise in architecting test strategies for SoC and hardware platforms.
• Experience with HIL/SIL simulation environments for embedded systems.
• Strong scripting (Python) and test automation framework experience with CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Define and roadmap test and validation strategy for firmware, software, system, and reference platform layers.
• Architect end-to-end test infra, frameworks, and automated testing across firmware/software layers.
• Drive CT pipelines and fault injection testing for hardware-software co-verification.
• Mentor Verification teams and drive adoption of industry-leading test tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with HW, firmware, software, and product teams to align test strategies with customer needs.
