Micron Technology in Manassas, VA, seeks an engineer to advance AI-driven semiconductor process optimization and data analytics. You will establish and improve process conditions, monitor parameters, and drive yield improvements.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering or a related field, experience with JMP/MATLAB/Excel/SPC, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work in a cleanroom on a 12-hour shift.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering or related technical field.
Experience analyzing data with JMP, MATLAB, Excel or SPC tools.
Proven problem-solving skills in complex processes.
Strong communication for cross-team collaboration.
Ability to work a 12-hour shift and wear cleanroom attire.

Responsibilities

Establish and improve AI-driven process optimization methodologies.
Upgrade process capability to improve yield and reduce production costs.
Establish, modify, and manage process improvement projects incl. AI automation.
Set up, monitor and optimize process parameters for semiconductor equipment.
Evaluate and plan new equipment, materials, AI applications, and digital solutions.
Perform abnormality analysis, root cause investigation, predictive analytics, and continuous process improvement using AI tools.
