Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Engineer to ensure reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

You'll own end-to-end equipment performance and partner with manufacturing, process engineering, maintenance, and supplier teams. As part of Micron’s AI-enabled ecosystem, Fab Equipment Engineers use AI-supported data and insights to improve tool performance, reliability, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Technical troubleshooting & problem solving capabilities.
• Root cause analysis and equipment/system diagnostics.
• Analyzing and interpreting data with SPC principles.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, automation and manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Own equipment performance and reliability by identifying issues and lifecycle improvements.
• Diagnose technical issues and enable rapid tool recovery to prevent problems.
• Drive equipment upgrade/modification projects and coordinate with vendors.
• Partner across Process, Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve issues.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Create and maintain SOPs and troubleshooting guides.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and manufacturing standards.
