Job summary

Roadrunner is replacing legacy CPQ software with a new AI-enabled stack called PQA (Prompt, Quote, Approve). The team operates fully in-person in San Francisco, collaborating with engineers from top tech firms.

You will own the product end-to-end, design proactive AI agents for quoting and approvals, and build high-performance engines for multi-billion-dollar deals while maintaining close customer feedback loops with AEs.

Qualifications

• Proven track record shipping end-to-end software products.
• Clear tradeoffs between speed and code quality.
• High autonomy with a builder's mindset.
• Clear, direct communication across technical and business audiences.
• Location: based in San Francisco, CA or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Product Ownership: Build production-grade, fast, and reliable systems across Roadrunner’s core platform for Account Executives (AEs).
• Agentic AI Deployment: Design and ship proactive AI agents that automate quoting, complex deal modeling, and multi-step enterprise workflows.
• Enterprise-Scale Engineering: Build high-performance workflow engines that power approval flows for multibillion-dollar transactions with sub-millisecond response times.
• Direct Customer Feedback Loops: Work directly with AEs in the field to understand pain points, iterate rapidly, and continuously ship improvements.
