Job summary

Advantest America seeks an Applications Engineer to advance Velocity-based EDA-to-ATE conversion flows for leading semiconductor customers worldwide. You will implement and optimize automated flows across DFT, design, simulation, and production ATE environments, working directly with customer teams and Velocity developers.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted automation, debugging efficiency, and deployment scalability, with hands-on experience in Velocity, V93000/ST8 platforms, and related tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience with semiconductor test conversion environments and DFT concepts.
• Hands-on familiarity with Velocity, Test Insight, VTRAN and/or TSSI.
• Ability to develop automation scripts and support customer deployments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support Velocity EDA-to-ATE conversion flows for strategic semiconductor customers.
• Develop and optimize automated conversion methodologies for STIL, WGL, EVCD, IJTAG, and SSN environments.
• Support conversion and debug flows targeting Advantest V93000/ST8 platforms.
• Analyze and resolve conversion, timing, protocol, and pattern integration issues.
• Work with customer DFT, Design, Validation, and Test Engineering teams.
• Develop automation scripts and utilities using Python, Java, and related technologies.
• Assist in AI-assisted engineering workflows for pattern debug, log parsing, and regression analysis.
• Collaborate on scalable conversion infrastructure and peak-bandwidth automation environments.
