Job summary

ADT is seeking a hands-on Engineer III and Technical Lead to drive the technical roadmap of its digital ecosystem, including SFCC, SFMC, MuleSoft, and CMS platforms. You will architect within guardrails, write code, and elevate engineering quality using AI tools, guiding a cross-functional pod across Salesforce, Next.js/React front-ends, and analytics deployments.

You will own end-to-end solution design, champion TDD, and partner with analytics to optimize performance and reliability.

Qualifications

5 years of software engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
Experience with Next.js, React and modern headless architectures.
Solid understanding of MuleSoft APIs and integration patterns.
Experience with SCAPI (Salesforce Commerce APIs).
Familiarity with Akamai.
Experience implementing Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end technical solution design following architecture hand-offs across SFCC, SFMC, MuleSoft, and CMS platforms.
Translate business and product requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
Drive integration patterns across commerce, marketing, and data platforms.
Actively contribute to development across SFCC, Next.js/React front-end, MuleSoft APIs, and SFMC development.
Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
Lead technical design within a pod, mentoring engineers and upholding engineering standards.
Champion a culture of end-to-end quality with automated tests and meaningful test coverage.
