You will work on physics-based research, AI-enabled features, and collaboration with engineers and software developers to translate equations into tested software, document results, and present recommendations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s or PhD in a STEM field with strong programming and modeling skills.
• Experience or coursework in drilling engineering, physics-based modeling, or AI.
• Proficiency in Python or other technical languages; ability to translate equations into software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support physics-based research and computational modeling for drilling engineering applications.
• Translate engineering equations into research prototypes and tested software components.
• Develop AI-enabled features and agents to assist engineering analysis and knowledge retrieval.
• Test and validate models using simulations, benchmark cases, or data.
• Document methods, results, and recommendations to the project team.
• Collaborate with drilling engineers, researchers, and software developers.
