ManpowerGroup in Austin is seeking a Software Development Engineer 1 to join the DevOps and Platform Engineering function. You will design, build, and own AI-powered DevOps platforms that improve reliability, security, and developer productivity.

The role requires hands-on Kubernetes, Azure, and GitHub Actions experience, with CI/CD implementation using Jenkins and Docker. Collaboration across software, SRE, security, and data teams is essential for scalable, secure platform solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Azure, and GitHub Actions.
• Experience implementing CI/CD and delivery workflows using GitHub Actions and Jenkins, and containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience applying AI in DevOps, such as LLM-powered tooling and AI-assisted automation.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python; familiarity with TypeScript/JavaScript, Bash, or Groovy is a plus.
• Solid understanding of source control and code review workflows (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket/Gerrit).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own DevOps platforms and applications leveraging AI/ML to boost productivity, reliability, and security.
• Architect and maintain CI/CD solutions using modern DevOps, MLOps, and AIOps practices, including LLMs and AI-assisted automation.
• Develop AI-powered features for CI/CD, observability, and incident management with intelligent alerting and remediation workflows.
• Lead automation scripts and services using Python (preferred) and other languages to integrate with REST and AI APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and drive adoption of DevOps and AI/ML best practices.
