Job summary

Akraya is seeking a data scientist to leverage data to drive strategic decisions by analyzing customer behavior and supporting AI-driven initiatives. You will collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to translate complex findings into actionable insights and contribute to the development of AI-powered solutions that scale across the business.

This is a W2 contract role for 9+ months located in Oakland, CA, offering hourly pay between $80 and $90.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of data science experience.
• Proficiency in designing and interpreting A/B tests.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings.
• Experience in the fintech industry, specifically in banking, lending, or payments, is preferred but not strictly required.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of team strategies by providing data-driven insights into customer behavior.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address well-defined business questions.
• Design and execute A/B tests, with support on more advanced experimental designs.
