Qualifications

• 2+ years managing data scientists and/or analytics engineers.
• 6+ years in data science or analytics.
• Strong data intuition and product sense.
• Excellent data storytelling skills.
• Ability to coach and develop senior ICs.
• Experience influencing product roadmaps with data.
• Empathetic communicator who can articulate insights to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the team, recruit, interview, and onboard top talent.
• Set the technical bar for experimentation, analytics, and data modeling.
• Relentlessly focus on impact and data-informed decision making.
• Strategically partner and prioritize across the business to ensure stakeholder support.
• Shape product and business strategy using data and metrics.
• Define measurement frameworks and instrument key metrics.
• Develop a deep understanding of Clay users through collaboration with UX and feedback teams.
• Grow and mentor senior ICs to scale the data team.
