Job summary

Applied Systems in the United States seeks a Manager, Data Transformation & Conversion Services to lead data migration and implementation efforts in a hybrid setup across Chicago, Dallas, or Atlanta offices. You will guide a team of Data Conversion Specialists, driving quality and customer outcomes.

This role blends operations leadership with innovation, automation, and organizational transformation to redefine data services for AI-enabled solutions in insurance technology.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience managing technical, consulting, implementation, or data-focused teams.
• Experience leading organizational change or transformation initiatives.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and people development skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in evolving environments.
• Experience with AI, automation, machine learning, generative AI, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in data conversion or analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Conversion Specialists and build a culture of accountability.
• Identify skill gaps and craft talent strategies for future needs.
• Apply AI, automation, and emerging tech to improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Champion experimentation and rapid prototyping of AI-powered tools.
• Own delivery of data conversion activities across customer implementations and track KPIs.
• Support complex engagements and serve as escalation for migration challenges and design.
