Job summary

GTN Technical Staffing client seeks an experienced Network Architect to lead design of large-scale data center backbone, DCI, and AI infrastructure. You will define scalable, secure architectures for data center, cloud interconnects, and multi-tenant environments.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in data center networking with EVPN, VXLAN, and BGP expertise, plus WAN/interconnect experience. Hybrid work model; US work authorization required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing or architecting large-scale networks.
• Deep expertise with modern data center networking architectures such as EVPN and VXLAN.
• Experience with WAN, interconnects, and multi-tenant networking environments.
• Ability to communicate complex network concepts to engineering and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and evolution of large-scale data center backbone and data center interconnect (DCI) environments.
• Design highly available, scalable, and low-latency networks for HPC/AI workloads.
• Develop and maintain reference architectures for WAN connectivity, carrier interconnects, cloud connectivity, and backbone expansion.
• Define architectural standards for routing, traffic engineering, redundancy, telemetry, and observability.
• Align backbone architecture with capacity forecasts, infrastructure expansion, and business growth.
• Partner with Solutions Architects and infrastructure teams to ensure designs meet workload requirements.
• Ensure security, segmentation, compliance, monitoring, and operational visibility are embedded in architecture.
