Job summary

Great Dane is seeking a Data Architect to design and govern the enterprise data architecture powering the Durable Hub. You will lead the IT Data Engineering team, own the Canonical Data Model, and define end-to-end data pipelines from source systems into the Bronze/Silver/Gold medallion layers.

You will collaborate with Enterprise Architect and Data Governance to ensure data is modeled once, governed centrally, and reused for analytics, AI, and intelligent automation, while advancing metadata

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in data architecture, data engineering or related discipline; hands-on design of enterprise data platforms; leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor IT Data Engineering team; hiring, coaching, performance management.
• Own and evolve Canonical Data Model and enterprise object model; ensure single, governed definition.
• Design end-to-end data pipeline topology for central data hub; ingestion, stream processing, medallion layers.
• Define integration patterns for source systems such as JDE BSSV, Salesforce, and Tacton CPQ.
• Establish data modeling standards, event schemas, immutability, and replay principles for analytics and operations.
• Design data architectures supporting analytics, ML, generative AI, and automation.
• Define enterprise semantic models, metadata standards, glossaries, and knowledge representations.
