Job summary

DroneDeploy, Inc. is seeking a Staff Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to join the GRC organization. You will partner with security, engineering, IT, and business teams to assess and manage security risks across our information asset ecosystem.

The role emphasizes using AI as a force multiplier to accelerate risk assessments, synthesize complex data, and provide high-accuracy insights. You will report to the Director of GRC and help mature our risk program.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in security risk management, GRC, or cybersecurity with cloud exposure.
• Experience aggregating issues into broader risks and driving systemic treatment.
• Hands-on AI fluency and ability to structure prompts for repeatable outputs.
• Strong data quality mindset with attention to stale records and ownership.
• Proficiency with Jira and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Risk Lifecycle Management from assessment to closure with treatment tracking.
• Map risks to controls and align with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST frameworks.
• Translate findings from pen tests, audits, and scans into root-cause risks with actions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to validate severity.
• Use AI tooling to accelerate risk statement drafting, evidence summaries, and reporting.
• Maintain the risk register accuracy, ownership clarity, and scoring consistency.
