Job summary

Yahoo is building AI-native security experiences for employees, shipping agents, skills, and tools to reduce friction and improve clarity. You’ll scale AI tooling and enable adoption across multiple teams while advocating for the developer experience and meeting security requirements.

You’ll work with engineers, product, and planning to ship tangible prototypes, shaping what an AI-native function looks like inside Yahoo's security org. This is a hands-on, impactful role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with LLMs and agentic AI tools (prompting, orchestration, reusable skills/agents).
• Proficient in Python or TypeScript.
• Experience integrating APIs and MCPs to connect systems.
• Proven track record evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, safety and security.
• Comfortable building lightweight UIs (HTML/CSS/JS).
• Familiarity with MySQL for queries and management.
• Able to partner with cross-functional teams and advocate for user needs.
• Comfortable with Git and GitHub as code/content source of truth.
• Clear technical writing for reuse and extension.
• Experience with modern collaboration tools (Linear, Jira, Google Workspace).
• Exposure to security work.

Responsibilities

• Build employee-facing products using AI, shipping agents, skills, and tools with fast iteration.
• Advocate for the developer experience in security solutions and constraints.
• Own and grow AI tooling infrastructure (skills, plugins, internal marketplaces).
• Work closely with user segments from general employees to developers to call center agents.
• Document standards, guides, and demos to enable reuse by the team.
