Job summary

AwardSpring is seeking a Customer Experience Engineer in Chicago's West Loop. This full-time role focuses on shortening the path from customer questions to solutions, owning automated support, and maintaining onboarding data pipelines.

You will work closely with AI and product teams to improve self-serve support and reduce manual steps for customers. Ideal candidates will map complex data into our schema, fix issues, and build tools that empower Support Reps and Onboarding Specialists.

Qualifications

• Experience with customer experience engineering or technical support automation.
• Familiarity with AI-powered support tools or chatbots.

Responsibilities

• Run and optimize AI-supported support agents and documentation.
• Collaborate to keep product docs up to date with releases.
• Triage escalations, diagnose root causes, and craft bugs or workarounds.
• Map and onboard new customers' data into AwardSpring schemas.
• Build onboarding pipelines to reduce manual steps.
