Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems seeks a Senior Contract Specialist to support the Secretary of the Air Force Office of Competition (SAF/OC) MPCO with contract documentation, procurement coordination, and modification support. The role involves acquisition strategy, market research, and pre/post‑award activities.

The candidate should have 10+ years in related work, DoW experience, and proficiency with DoW procurement processes and ConWrite within the last 5 years, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of related work experience.
• Minimum of six years of DoW component support experience.
• Experience in DoW acquisition.
• Experience applying FAR supplements to acquisition processes.
• Experience developing acquisition strategies from market research and solicitation with selection criteria.
• Experience as Contracting Officer/Contract Specialist in support of DoW.
• Experience with cost/price analysis, negotiations, and acquisition packages for services, supplies, and IT.
• Must have supported AF source selection and sole source procurements.
• Experience using Government Contract Writing System (ConWrite) within last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Mission Support contracting team.
• Assist with contracting requirements: soliciting, evaluating, negotiating and awarding contracts.
• Assist with cost or price proposals analysis.
• Develop acquisition documents and manage procurements: contract files, market research, follow-up with programs, document reviews, pre/post-award, solicitation prep, and evaluation panel support.
