Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Contracting Specialist III at JBAB, Washington, DC, to deliver cradle-to-grave contract support for high-priority AFRCO and SAF/AQL programs. You will work with the Contracting Officer to develop strategies, conduct market research, evaluate proposals, and ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and AFFARS.

The role demands DoD/IC experience, TS/SCI clearance, and the ability to manage complex acquisitions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years DoD/IC/industry experience, incl. 2+ years in SAP/SCI, with 1+ year in past 5 years.
• Valid and active driver’s license.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for a Government CI Poly.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and management of acquisitions for high-priority projects.
• Deliver cradle-to-grave contract support, including pre- and post-award activities.
• Collaborate with the Contracting Officer to develop acquisition strategies and methods.
• Monitor contract performance and provide expert recommendations.
• Manage contract actions from initiation to closeout.
