Job summary

NOCD is hiring a growth-minded content strategist and writer to shape content-driven experiences for onboarding, education, and marketing. You will craft and optimize educational articles, in-app messages, and campaigns to improve engagement and conversions across our OCD treatment platform.

The role blends creative writing with data-driven experimentation, requiring the ability to analyze results and apply insights.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in content strategy, growth marketing, product marketing, or related role.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, able to create clear, engaging, action-oriented content across formats.
• Strong content strategy and messaging instincts, with experience developing and testing content that drives measurable action.
• Experience with product growth, funnel analysis, conversion rate optimization, and experimentation.
• Comfortable using quantitative data and qualitative insights to guide decisions.
• Ability to translate complex scientific/healthcare information into accessible content.
• Collaborating across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and subject-matter experts.
• Excited to leverage AI for content development, experimentation, and personalization.
• Based in the Chicago, IL area and able to work 2 days/week in NOCD’s downtown office.

Responsibilities

• Design and test content-driven product experiences across onboarding, booking, education, and other key Member journeys to improve engagement and conversion.
• Identify and address friction in critical app flows using content, experimentation, insights, and product thinking.
• Write and optimize high-quality content across formats, including in-app messaging, lifecycle campaigns, landing pages, educational content, product copy, and growth campaigns.
• Translate complex healthcare and OCD topics into clear, empathetic content that motivates action.
• Build and test AI-first content workflows for personalized, scalable Member experiences.
• Use qualitative insights and performance data to develop and test messaging and improve content effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Lifecycle, Web, Product, Engineering, Design, Intake Ops, and subject-matter experts to deploy experiences.
• Maintain high brand voice, editorial quality, and clinical accuracy while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
