Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Senior Member of Technical Staff for the Monitoring Cloud team to own and operate scalable monitoring infrastructure across multi-clouds. You will use AI-assisted development tools, Terraform, and Kubernetes to automate, secure, and productize observing stacks for high-assurance environments.

You will bridge feature design with system stability, enabling air-gapped and public-cloud observability with a strong focus on security, reliability, and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in distributed systems, API platforms, or DevOps at scale.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and Terraform across cloud environments.
• Hands-on AWS and/or GCP experience and coding in Java or Python.
• Experience with monitoring tools and data pipelines like Grafana or Kafka.
• Understanding of authN/authZ in isolated or restricted networks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement IaC automation using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Standardize deployments across AWS and GCP for global consistency.
• Productize monitoring components (Grafana, Terraform providers) as services.
• Apply AI-assisted tooling to IaC, testing, and automation pipelines.
• Lead on-call, RCA, and incident response with a customer-first mindset.
