Job summary

IRIS Software Group is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to cloud-native web applications and data platforms serving millions of users. You will work on full-stack features using .NET Core, C#, and modern UI frameworks, deployed on Azure or AWS with containerized deployments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, own feature delivery through its lifecycle, and mentor junior engineers while embracing AI-assisted development and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional software development experience and Agile delivery.
• Experience building cloud-native, scalable web applications.
• Proficient with .NET Core, C#, REST APIs and DI patterns.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software engineering tools and responsible use.
• Experience with observability and production support practices.
• Experience with containerisation and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver features end-to-end from analysis to production deployment.
• Own small to medium features across their lifecycle with quality in mind.
• Contribute to architectural decisions with senior engineers’ guidance
• Maintain clean, scalable codebases following SOLID and clean architecture
• Deploy containerised apps to Azure or AWS and manage data stores (SQL/NoSQL)
• Mentor juniors through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing
