Job summary

Capco is seeking an Integration & Application Modernization Architect to lead the design and delivery of modern architectures for complex Financial Services environments in a hybrid U.S. setting.

You will guide modernization across legacy platforms, APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions, while integrating AI where appropriate and aligning with senior client stakeholders. You will collaborate with business and technology leaders to translate requirements into pragmatic roadmaps,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive technology experience in software, solution, integration or enterprise architecture.
• Experience in application modernization, enterprise integration, APIs, microservices and cloud-native architecture.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure or Google Cloud and modern tech like Kubernetes, Docker, serverless and IaC.
• Experience designing AI-enabled solutions within enterprise architectures.
• Strong client-facing communication and technical leadership with executives and engineers.
• Banking or Financial Services domain experience preferred.
• Consulting experience delivering complex technology transformations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of modern, scalable application and integration architectures for complex Financial Services environments.
• Drive application modernization initiatives, transforming legacy platforms into cloud-native, API-driven and modern distributed architectures.
• Design integration solutions using APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, messaging and modern integration patterns.
• Partner with business and technology leaders to translate complex requirements into pragmatic solution architectures and modernization roadmaps, including identifying where AI can enhance applications, customer experiences, operations and engineering.
• Provide technical leadership across application, solution, integration and enterprise architecture initiatives, acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
