Job summary

CBTS seeks an AI Engineer to lead the migration of TeamCity CI pipelines to GitHub Actions within a three-person DevOps team supporting the broader build/release environment. This six-month contract emphasizes migration work over daily operations.

The role requires strong GitHub Actions expertise, familiarity with TeamCity configurations, and experience applying AI-assisted tooling to migrations. Hybrid work options available in Phoenix or other markets.

Qualifications

• Experience migrating CI/CD pipelines, especially TeamCity to GitHub Actions
• Strong knowledge of GitHub Actions pipeline authoring and architecture
• Familiarity with TeamCity build configurations (steps, triggers, dependencies, artifacts)
• Experience applying AI-assisted tooling to migrations or automation
• Ability to work independently on scoped technical initiatives with clear deliverables

Responsibilities

• Assess existing TeamCity CI configurations, build steps, and dependencies
• Design and execute a migration plan converting TeamCity pipelines to GitHub Actions
• Apply AI-assisted tooling approaches to accelerate migration and validation
• Validate converted pipelines for functional parity with existing TeamCity builds
• Partner with the DevOps team to hand off migrated pipelines to ongoing GitHub Actions/Octopus Deploy operations
• Document migration approach, decisions, and manual steps for future reference
• Identify edge cases or legacy configurations requiring custom handling
