Job summary

CBTS seeks an AI Automation Engineer to lead the migration of TeamCity pipelines to GitHub Actions, working with a small DevOps team. The role focuses on a 6-month contract with potential renewals and requires AI-assisted tooling to accelerate conversion and validation.

Ideal candidates will have proven migration experience, strong GitHub Actions knowledge, and the ability to deliver with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Experience migrating CI/CD pipelines, especially TeamCity to GitHub Actions.
Strong knowledge of GitHub Actions pipeline authoring and architecture.
Familiarity with TeamCity build configuration concepts (steps, triggers, dependencies, artifacts).
Experience applying AI-assisted development or automation tooling to migrations.
Ability to work independently on a scoped technical initiative with clear deliverables.

Responsibilities

Assess existing TeamCity CI configurations and dependencies.
Design and execute a migration plan to GitHub Actions.
Apply AI-assisted tooling to accelerate analysis, conversion, and validation.
Validate pipelines for functional parity with TeamCity builds.
Hand off converted pipelines to ongoing GitHub Actions/Octopus Deploy operations.
Document migration decisions and any manual steps for future reference.
Flag edge cases or legacy configs requiring custom handling.
