Job summary

Respiris is seeking a Career Transition Coach to work one-on-one with candidates who have lost their jobs. You will meet weekly, listen deeply, and help craft a uniquely tailored plan including Career Prayer, resumes, and networking strategy.

You will use AI and research tools to tailor preparation and insights, partnering with coaches and operations to continuously improve the candidate experience. This role offers flexible hours as a 1099 contractor.

Qualifications

• Experience in coaching or mentoring individuals through career transitions.
• Ability to listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and build trusted relationships.
• Comfort using AI tools and platforms to augment coaching and research.

Responsibilities

• Meet with candidates weekly throughout their engagement.
• Understand their career story, strengths, motivations, values, and goals.
• Help each candidate develop their Career Prayer: who they are, what they do best, what they want next, and how others can help.
• Partner with candidates to build and strengthen resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and professional narratives.
• Activate their network through Career Prayer and targeted outreach.
• Help identify target roles, companies, industries, and opportunities.
• Prepare candidates for interviews and important career conversations.
• Use AI and research tools to improve preparation, insight, and personalization.
• Collaborate with other coaches, operations, and the founder to continuously improve the candidate experience.
