Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Director level Data Scientist in Wilmington, DE to lead the Customer & Strategic Analytics team within Card Data & Analytics. You will translate business strategy into analytics, build high-performing teams, and guide AI/ML initiatives across the Card portfolio.

You will lead analytics that shape product strategy, customer experience, pricing, and competitive positioning, while mentoring a multi-layered team and driving data-driven decisions at the executive level.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field and 10+ years of progressive analytics experience.
• Senior leadership experience managing and developing multi-disciplinary analytics teams.
• Strong technical foundation in AI/ML, including experience evaluating techniques and moving solutions to production.
• Working knowledge of GenAI and agentic AI patterns with LLMs and related frameworks.
• Exceptional ability to translate between technical and business audiences and influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the AI and analytics strategy for Card D&A, identifying high-value opportunities for generative AI and analytics.
• Stay current on emerging AI/ML techniques and evaluate tools and vendor offerings for practical application.
• Partner with Data, Product, Technology, Risk, and Finance to deliver AI/ML solutions from ideation through production deployment.
• Lead analytics supporting customer experience, benefits, product design, portfolio performance, and pricing/targeting.
• Drive measurement frameworks, experimentation, and personalization strategies to improve customer experience.
