Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Business & Data Analyst to join the IOA practice, focusing on AI-powered analysis and automation for enterprise clients. You will analyze processes, leverage AI tools daily, and generate actionable insights with Excel, Power BI, and SQL while supporting AI solution adoption.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you relocate to major Cognizant offices in the U.S. New hires will work in Chicago, IL or Teaneck, NJ with October/November 2026 or January/February

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI-powered business analysis and consulting methodology.
• Familiarity with Excel; exposure to Power BI or SQL is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, requirements, and data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Use AI tools (Copilot, Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) to speed research and documentation.
• Perform data analysis to generate actionable business insights.
• Refine prompts to improve AI-assisted work quality and consistency.
• Support design and adoption of Agentic AI solutions by documenting use cases.
