Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Business & Data Analyst to join our IOA practice, focusing on AI-powered analysis and automation. You’ll learn through hands-on training, work with enterprise clients, and be mentored by senior consultants from day one.

Responsibilities include analyzing processes, using Copilot/Claude/Gemini/ChatGPT daily, and producing executive-ready reports. Occasional relocation to major hubs may be required, with October/November 2026 or January/February 2027 start windows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Familiarity with Excel; exposure to Power BI or SQL is a plus.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini, etc.).
• Ability to grasp business needs and assess impacts to complex operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes, requirements, and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Use AI tools to speed up research, analysis, and documentation.
• Perform data analysis using Excel, Power BI, SQL to generate actionable insights.
• Build and refine prompts to improve AI-assisted work quality.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations, reports, and business recommendations.
