Job summary

Smartly is seeking a Business Analytics Intern for Fall 2026 to gain hands-on experience applying analytical skills to real business and customer challenges. You will join the Business Analytics team and support a broad range of analytical projects, transforming data into clear, actionable insights.

You will learn to build dashboards, work with SQL, Python, and dbt, and use AI tools to improve efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in a quantitative field (data science, statistics, economics, CS, or engineering).
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in SQL.
• Familiarity with data modeling tools like dbt is a plus.
• Experience with Python or similar data analysis language is beneficial.
• Curious, data-driven, able to explain insights clearly.

Responsibilities

• Transform raw datasets into structured data models for analysis and dashboarding.
• Analyze customer and business data to identify actionable insights.
• Build and maintain dashboards used across the organization.
