Job summary

Absci Corp. is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead AI Research & Development efforts. You will guide vision, strategy, and deployment for AI and Lab Products, coordinating AI/ML researchers, software engineers, and wet lab scientists to enable rapid biologics design and validation.

You will manage roadmaps, set OKRs, and drive cross-functional collaboration to align stakeholders, delivering high-impact products in cancer, autoimmune, and infectious disease areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, bioinformatics, data science, engineering or life sciences.
• 5+ years in production-grade software or technical products development.
• 3+ years in AI/ML and/or protein engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge for collaboration with engineers and scientists.
• Proven track record delivering product roadmaps with impact.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication; clear on strategic ideas.
• Organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with autonomy and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Gather and synthesize product requirements from AI, Engineering, Wet Lab, and Business teams; align with leadership.
• Own roadmaps with decisive precision; balance priorities and risk.
• Partner with managers to establish a cohesive product vision.
• Create roadmaps, backlogs, and execution plans; define OKRs and KPIs; track and adjust by data.
• Lead cross-functional teams from conception to deployment and optimization; remove blockers.
• Conduct user research to understand needs, pain points, and opportunities.
• Drive adoption and successful deployment within internal programs and external partnerships.
